JOINING

The join of rounds on the bag section is center back. Fold work to find center front and mark with safety pin. Place slip loop on hook, and beginning at center back, work a dc through every top dc going into the base of stitch and not top edge loop. As you work around, join main section to bag by working through both bag and main parts for 6 stitches at center front. The 6 stitches will be positioned 3 at either side of center front where safety pin is. Remove pin as you complete (42 dc). Join with slip stitch and chain 3. Work a round of treble (US dc) around and fasten off neatly to inside. Chain 120 and work back as for cord on main section. Start at center front of bag and thread cord in and out of trebles. Tie in single overhand knot. To wear, the cord is brought up and around and tied in knot and bow.

Author Bio:

Esmerelda Jones

The fragrant summers of the Australian bush arose in me the earliest passion for the pleasures of life. Romance, beauty and love are arts to be courted, and in all these matters I write what I have experienced in the senses.

My childhood bedroom, a watercolour lavender, was heady with ambrosial writing, further spiced by desire. It is for those wanting to languish in fully ripe romance that I write. They will find in the daily rush and bleakness there exists a private boudoir of the mind; where vivid silk and subtle satins defuse our stress, and problems are eaten like fat mangoes.
