The Florida Panhandle boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in the United States. From her emerald waters to her sugar-like sand it has been a popular vacation destination for years. There are many quaint towns in this stretch of paradise each having their own personalities.
For example the flagship of this region is Destin. Crowned the "luckiest fishing village in world" Destin is filled with everything you would expect a vacation destination to have. From dolphin cruises in the Gulf of Mexico to shopping at the Silver Sands outlet. Scores of vacationers visit here year after year because of the convenient location. If you are looking for a slower paced area: then Seaside, FL is where you'll want to be.
A picture-perfect town about 20 minutes East of Destin where you can find multiple vacation rentals or villas to fit your family of any size. Featured in the "Truman Show" Seaside is truly a town right out of the movies. Great restaurants like Caf' 30-A and Bud & Alleys make this my favorite area. Another area that has gone through a recent revitalization is Panama City Beach. Once the Spring break capital of Florida it is now falling in line with the rest of the Panhandle's beaches.
More and more people are recognizing this area and are taking advantages of the great rates on vacation rental homes and condos. No matter what town you decide to visit you can bet that the Emerald Coast will not disappoint and you know one day that you'll return. Life is too short to miss out on such a beautiful area. Pack your bags and head out to Florida for a vacation to remember. |
