Dollar Store Items

Author: Thomas Morva

Dollar stores are truly one-stop-shops, especially for individuals who do have neither money nor time to waste. A variety of items line their stock trays, ranging from cleaning supplies to old movies. Drop by a dollar store and you will surely leave with shopping bags filled with top merchandise.

Dollar stores sell very inexpensive merchandise. Prices range from fifty cents to about one dollar. Many of the items sold are not brand-name items, but they are often of the same quality.

Common goods that can be purchased at a dollar store include:

Cleaning supplies. You can get cleaning supplies such as sponges, sprays, scrubbers, cloths, bleach, and dustpans.

Kitchen supplies. You can get utensils, spatulas, peelers, potholders, dishes, and even glasses.

Gardening supplies. Typically seeds, small pots, decorations, drippers, hoses, tools, and drippers can be found at dollar stores.

Organizational supplies. Crates, suction cups, and hangers are often available for a dollar or less.

Decorations. Need some decorations? Dollar stores have Easter eggs, Christmas ornaments, and Halloween props, too.

Tools and electronics. A variety of light bulbs, night lights, candles, and extension cords are available at dollar stores. You can also usually find electronic supplies such as TV cables, phone cords, splitters, USB cards, video, audio, and power and computer adapters for sale. You can likewise find small tools like wrenches, flashlights, locks, screwdrivers, and ropes, among many others. Packing tape, duct tape, scotch tape, and electrical tape will also probably be on hand.

Personal supplies. Spend less than a buck on combs, hairbrushes, hair pulls, barrettes, razor, shave, deodorant, shampoo, and soap at your neighborhood dollar store.

Office supplies. Small office supplies such as pens, paper, pencils, markers, thumbtacks, rubber bands, and paperclips go for a dollar or less.

Other items. There are food items such as cookies, candy, canned goods, ramen noodles, soft drinks, and water. You can also often buy small novelty toys, pet supplies, out-of-print books, old movies and DVDs. Sometimes, you can even find outdated computer software.
