T-Mobile offers a family plan, FamilyTime for users who want to keep in close contact with their family members. These types of cell phone plans are perfect for families with young drivers or kids in college. There are numerous cell phone plans to choose from and each user can pick their cell phone.

T-Mobile offers four different options for users to choose from. The first cell phone plan, the FamilyTime basic includes 700 whenever minutes to be shared with all of the users under the plan and also includes unlimited nights, weekends and mobile-to-mobile calls. This plan is $59.99 a month.

Another plan that T-Mobile has to offer is the FamilyTime Plan, which includes 1000 shared minutes as well as unlimited nights, weekends and mobile-to-mobile minutes. All of this costs the user $69.99 a month.

T-Mobile also offers the FamilyTime Plus Plan for $99.99 a month, which includes 2000 shared minutes and unlimited nights, weekends and mobile-to-mobile minutes. The final family plan that T-Mobile has to offer is the FamilyTime Ultra Plan for $129.99 a month, which includes 3000 shared minutes and unlimited nights, weekends and mobile-to-mobile minutes.

Family plans include two lines of service and currently costs $7.99 for each additional cell phone line per month. The billing address for each line must be the same for all of the users and all mobile phone lines must be activated in the same market. A one-time activation of $35.00 for each line applies.

All of the above cell phone plans includes access to 411 and More, call forwarding, call waiting and call hold, caller ID, conference calling, customer care, voicemail with message-waiting indicators. Cell phone users can add on additional services for additional costs including text and picture messaging services, ringtones, and caller tunes.

Users can choose from a variety of cell phones for free or they can opt to pay for one. Family plan users are required to sign up for a cellular service agreement and contract with T-Mobile.
